Aloo Tikki



Ingredients:
Potato - 3
Brown Bread - 5
Cumin powder
Green chili. chopped 
Coriander leaves
Chat Masala - 1 -2 tsp
Salt to taste
Raw onion, coriander leaves, pomegranate seeds for garnishing
Oil - as required for swallow frying.

Method:

1. Wash and boil potatoes. Peel the skin. Mash well.
2. Trim the sides of the bread, soak in water and squeeze away immediately. 
3. In a bowl, take the mashed potatoes, bread, finely chopped chilies, cumin powder, coriander leaves, salt and mix well. Pinch into small balls, flatten them into small discs. To give proper shape, put some oil on your palms and then make tikkis.
4. Keep them aside or in freeze for 1-2 hours.
5. Heat a swallow pan with 1 tsp oil. Fry tikkis a bit from both sides. When you are done making all the tikkis, transfer to a plate, spread little chat masala on both sides and flatten them a bit and swallow fry these again on hot pan. 
6. Serve hot with red chutny, curd & chola. Garnish with corainder leaves, raw onion & pomegranate seeds.
