Lemon Pickle / Neebu Ka Achar



Ingredients:
26 medium sized lemon
1/4 cup salt
3/4 cup sugar
1/8 cup garam masala
1/8 cup red chilli powder

Method:
1. Wash and clean lemons
2. Dry them with the help of a cotton clothe and cut into quarters.Take out all the seeds also.
3. Add all the spices together and smear it all over the lemon quarters. 
4. Put these spiced lemons into the jar.
5. Cover the jar and leave out in sun for approximately 2-3 weeks.
6. Keep turning lemons upside down in the jar once in 2-3 days so that top quarters also get equally all spices which many times set down at bottom half of jar.
7. When lemon becomes tender and become a little creamish in color, pickle is ready.
8. The pickle can be stored in a dry place up to 1 year.
